1. Services Offered
Philadelphia Tree Service provides professional tree care throughout the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. Our services include, but are not limited to, tree trimming, tree pruning, tree removal, stump grinding, emergency tree removal, arborist consultations, and general landscape maintenance involving trees and shrubs. All work is performed by trained professionals using industry-standard equipment and safety practices.
2. Estimates and Pricing
We provide free estimates for all tree care services. Estimates are based on the information available at the time of assessment and may be subject to change if site conditions differ from what was initially observed. Final pricing will be confirmed before any work begins. Additional charges may apply for unforeseen complications such as hidden decay, underground utilities, or access restrictions discovered during the course of work.
3. Scheduling and Cancellations
Service appointments are scheduled based on mutual availability. We make every effort to arrive within the agreed-upon time window; however, delays may occur due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or prior job complications. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Philadelphia Tree Service reserves the right to reschedule work due to unsafe weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the property, including property boundaries, the location of underground utilities, irrigation lines, and any relevant permits or homeowner association restrictions. You must ensure that our crew has safe and reasonable access to the work area. Philadelphia Tree Service is not liable for damage to unmarked underground utilities or structures not disclosed prior to the start of work.
5. Property and Liability
While we take every precaution to protect your property during service, tree work inherently involves risk. Philadelphia Tree Service carries full liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, damage caused by diseased or structurally compromised trees that fail after service, or damage resulting from conditions not disclosed by the customer. Any claims must be reported within 48 hours of service completion.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept major credit cards, checks, and cash. For larger projects, a deposit may be required prior to the start of work. Any outstanding balances not paid within 30 days of the invoice date may be subject to a late fee. Returned checks will incur an additional processing fee.
7. Warranty and Guarantees
Philadelphia Tree Service stands behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with the results, please contact us within 7 days of service completion so we can address your concerns. We do not guarantee the survival of any tree following trimming, pruning, or treatment, as tree health depends on many factors outside our control, including weather, soil conditions, disease, and ongoing maintenance.
